We are redefining the way saffron is grown. Using cutting-edge biotechnology, we cultivate saffron directly from its cells, ensuring quality, sustainability, and innovation in every thread.

The global saffron market faces major challenges. Traditional methods are unsustainable due to climate change, and demand keeps rising. As a result, production is falling (eg. in Iran by 60% in 2023-2024) and prices have soared to $5,000 per kilogram.

Our Solution

Starting material

Cherry-picking Stigmas

We select only premium saffron stigmas with distinct flavor profiles and grow their cells in specific conditions.

Selection cells

Saffron Stem Cells

We will ensure the cultivation of plant cells under laboratory conditions. And we will also select saffron stem cells and train them to grow in a liquid medium.

Scale up

Controlled Growth

We grow stem cells in condition-controlled tanks that mimic the exact conditions of the saffron fields, but without pesticides and heavy metals. By feeding them  nutrients naturally occurring in their terroir, the cells multiply.

End product

Saffron Powder

A high-quality saffron powder is rich in bioactive compounds and adds value to beauty, health, and food products. Most importantly, it’s up to 10 times cheaper than traditional saffron.
